Governor Gooding’s speech signals influential backing, while copper prospecting by Joe Vernon near Conata Nev signals continued local development efforts. Wood River Times reports continued travel and plans before winter.

Zell Truman of Shoshone Idaho files August 14 1912 a contest against Carey Act Entry No 695 by Harley J Tibbetts of Everett Massachusetts alleging failure to comply with cultivation and reclamation laws. The notice requires a written answer within twenty days after service with publication complete the first Monday after last publication.
