After games players and coaches were hosted at the schoolhouse with programs and refreshments. The visitors toured town and river power plants before a return drive to Goodie.
Boise set to host the State Association of County Commissioners annual gathering on December 17 18 and 19 with plans announced by BH Packenham president of the association. The meeting will invite county auditors to join sessions to strengthen ties between commissioners and auditors in shared duties.
Wills Stevenson was found guilty of voluntary manslaughter in the September murder of Al Templeton. Judge Walters sentenced Stevenson in district court to three to ten years in the state prison. Both defendants resided on Camm Pratts near Willow Creek, where the shooting occurred.
In Probate Court Monday Ed Foldier accused Thomas Stoddard of battery after a dispute tied to an election. Stoddard, described as undersized, faced a charge of assault.
