Lincoln county drafted soldiers 12 strong headed for Camp Lewis sparked a community bid to honor them. They organized a farewell ball with Mellveen Brothers orchestra, a K. P. Hall event, a Wednesday banquet at McFall hotel, and a public thank you to the county and editor. Auto Crash At Shoshone Falls Claims Four
A fatal crash on the Shoshone Falls grade last Friday afternoon killed W. T. Puckett and his daughter in law Mrs. W. S. Puckett instantly. W. L. Puckett was badly injured. The car, coming from Twin Falls, left the grade after steering gear failed and toppled onto rocks below.
