Patriotic Rally at Baugh Theatre Draws Large Crowd
A Sunday night event at the Baugh theatre drew patriotic Lincoln County residents. Governor Alexander Secretary Dougherty State Auditor Van Deusen and Attorney General Walters spoke with enthusiasm. Orr Chapman led a fundraising appeal for the Y M C A soldier boys and a Red Cross donation of 37.50 was collected at the door. The gathering raised over sixteen hundred dollars in monthly installments.

Jerome youths blamed for river disappearance verdict
Two boys from Jerome terrorized the community by masking faces and robbing a miner on Snake River. One fled into the river and disappeared. a coroner's jury later found the boy's death to be a voluntary act with no injuries beyond facial abrasions. The other boy was sent to St Anthony reform school. All suspects were exonerated.
