Coroner's verdict on Glenns Ferry train wreck

The coroner's jury finds A M Barnett and A W Long died in a rear end collision at Glenns Ferry about 7 20 pm on March 5 1903. It blames a freight train on the main track without proper signal and says the passenger train engineer failed to have the train under control. Names of jurors and contained details of victims and crew are listed.

In Shoshone Idaho on March 7 1903 Lincoln Camp No 5229 Modern Woodmen of America notes the death of neighbor N P Warren and extends heartfelt sympathy to his family. The camp charter is to be draped in mourning for 30 days and the resolutions are to be recorded and published. A related church event and speeches by Rev Usmurn and Rev Gkborn were attended at Episcopal Church.
