Shoshone Light and Water Company Formed in Idaho

The Shoshone Light and Water Company filed articles of incorporation in Idaho with $40,000 capital. Directors include FR Gooding and Chas M Hemphill of Shoshone and Robert Hayes of Pocatello. Plant planned near Millsaps ranch using Little Wood River power and a 220 hp wheel with 150 kW generator to supply 2,000 lights. Project ties to Oregon Short Line railroad and major investors, with potential large-scale power development across Snake River sources.
