North Side Canal Project Planned to Reclaim 180000 Acres
The Twin Falls Land and Water Co along with Idaho Irrigation plan a north side canal system within 60 days to reclaim 180000 acres. Reservoir sites Wilson Lake Sugar Loaf Lake and Manuintyt Lake will store water for dry season irrigation while water rights cost 36 per acre. Milner dam will remain the water source as the two systems coordinate operations and segregation adjustments.

Snow on December 31 1906 marks the season first snow. J W Biiggs and Otis Lyster show interest in Twin Falls tract since Christmas. D Briggs visited from Salmon Creek last week. J H Norton of Salmon Creek toured the valley on business. Otis Syster has been sick recently. Local boys attended a boxing match in Hagerman between Art Snodgrass and Thompson. Fritze and wife of Johnsons Ferry hosted by A J Madelena. Mr and Mrs Chas Wilson visited Geo Wilson and family. George Wilson of Portland returns home for holidays. Children of Mr and Mrs Nelson Christwell were sick with colds. Trustees repaired the school house in preparation for the new term. No dances this winter in the valley.

Glove salesman Suffers Back Injury in Los Angeles
Travelling salesman Polson Camp slipped on a slippery sidewalk in front of Burkill's harness shop and suffered a severe spinal wrench. He was attended by a physician at the Columbia hotel where he was staying. Camp, a member of the K of P lodge, recovered enough to leave bed and planned to travel to Spokane, Washington once able.
