Submits Figures On North Road In Shoshone County
Wille in the city the first of the week. Zelgier says he has estimates from the surveyor for the proposed road north from Shoshone on the half section line and that this line will cost nearly three thousand dollars less than a section line west of town. The north line offers a direct safer bed with fewer grades, a five percent steepest grade, aiding ranchers in hauling to town. Bridging Big Wood and Little Wood rivers is cheaper on the half section line. Some citizens urge keeping the old road if improved, while others prefer new lines. Commissioners will decide to maximize benefit with least expense for all concerned.
