Death of James Reynolds in Cadiz after tree limb accident
James E Reynolds aged 58 died at his home two miles west of Cadiz from injuries when a tree limb fell while workers rebuilt a cooperative telephone line near Travis Cooper’s farm. He died at 6 pm after being transported home. Survived by widow and two sons Benny and Elwood. Funeral Sunday at 10 am from Center Chapel, interment Mechanicsburg. Adelbert Jackson Dead at Age 3 in South Main Street
Adelbert Jackson son of Mr and Mrs Chas Jackson died at their home on South Main Street last Saturday morning aged 3 years 10 months and 12 days after a five week illness following a prior winter illness. Funeral services were held at the home Sunday afternoon Rev Beeson officiating and the remains were taken to North Vernon for burial early Monday morning with Rev Beeson and Mrs J Lisher accompanying the family.

Four brothers near Macon Georgia join a pig club to raise fatten and slaughter grade pigs. They feed wastes from town plus bran corn and green feed and keep pigs in good condition.
