Three days into the week the school opens with morning exercise and a farewell in word and music for Fern Richter. Mrs. Nagel warns about safety as boys chase baseball while girls anticipate basketball, aiming to improve last year’s two losses and seek town support.
Mrs Isolda Macha of our city is related to Art Goebel pilot of the Woolarec which won first prize in the James Dole air derby. The California Hawaii flyers were cheered but at Goebel request all cheering was absent for Miss Doran and other missing flyers. Goebel is a cousin of Mrs Macha A J Blohm manager of the M System spent a few days in Weimar and Houston.

John Heiman and Miss Sophia Roznovsky wed at the Catholic Church with Rev. L. P. Netardus presiding. Witnesses Jim Mauric and Ernest Pavelica attended. A wedding dinner and dance followed at the Frank Heiman home. Simultaneously Albert Marek and Miss Antonia Sustal were united by Father Netardus with bridesmaids Helen Marek and Louise Sustal and groomsmen Joe Marek and Andrew Shaklowitz. Witnesses A. Marek and B. Sustal. A reception at Edward Sustal’s Kokernot home concluded the festivities.
Mrs. Gus Jaroszewski hosts a bridal shower for Miss Estelle Macha. Miss Annie Louise Plageman hosts the Girls Bridge Club Thursday night honoring Macha, whose marriage to Dr. H Arthur Zappe is planned for early Fall.
