The Shiner Public Schools board met September 13 to hear about a Texas Education Agency accreditation team visiting the district the week of September 25. Enrollment for 1972-73 totals 603 students with 412 in K-8 and 191 in 9-12. a $11,000 borrowing resolution was adopted to cover September invoices and payroll.
