Seydler junior partner of Robertson and Seydler will be pleased to learn he is doing exceptionally well after an operation at the Medical and Surgical Hospital in San Antonio. He was transported there by ambulance Wednesday and Dr. Wilbur Robertson, now an intern in San Antonio, attended during the procedure.

Local man Fred Wiedemann critically injured by train
Fred Wiedemann, 64, died the same day after being struck by a Southern Pacific local freight near Market Street in town. He stepped onto the rail as the engine whistle blew, was dragged about forty feet, and suffered a fractured leg, arm, scalp wound, and internal injuries. Survived by wife Hedwig Brune, three children William, Hedwig, and Fred Jr., four sisters, and brother Harry. Funeral services held by Rev. Falkenberg in the family home and gravesite.
