Roddy Hartt Buried Thursday in Hallettsville
Funeral services for Roddy Hartt of Sublime were held Thursday March 23 1961 at 3 00 p m from Kabena Funeral Home Hallettsville with Rev Henry Smith officiating. Burial followed in Hallettsville City Cemetery. Hartt died March 22 at 3 00 a m at age 82 8 18. He married Mae Powers who preceded him in death. He is survived by one sister Mrs Annie Wilson and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents James H and Julia Hartt two sisters Ada Miller and Ida M Canon and a brother Bobbie Hartt. Funeral services were held at Buffington Funeral Home Shiner on Friday March 24 1961 for Richard Max Knippa age 80 born in Saxony Germany. Hallettsville High, Shiner High, and Sheridan High bands attended Region XVI UIL concert and sight reading in Edna.
