Edison Musical Recital At Shiner Draws Large Audience
A large attendance of Shiner’s best citizens filled the School Auditorium to hear the Edison recital presented by the Kleine Bros Miles with Miss J A Wolters on violin. The program included fifteen vocal and instrumental numbers, opening with The Star Spangled Banner and featuring improved Edison performance and Miss Wolters violin renditions. A. Stearns of the Holigow Laboratory conducted the recital, under the auspices of the Kleine Bros of Gonzales local distributors.

Sixteenth Century Club Meeting at High School

Easter Program at Methodist Church Sunday

City of Shiner Joins War Savings Honor Roll
The City of Shiner enters the War Savings Certificate donor roll as the second name. The city bought the $1,000 limit this week, with several private citizens close to the limit and expected to go over the top soon. W. L.
