The gathering included attendees from Galveston Houston San Antonio and New York with notable members from Gulf and Lone Star brewing families. Afternoon films and the Shiner Hobo Band entertained as oysters and pork spare ribs with strudel framed a memorable day in Shiner Texas.

Impressive funeral rites were held March 17 1958 for Mrs Otto Roth in Shiner. Born October 14 1882 in Schoenbeck Germany she died March 15 1958 in Wagner Hospital. Survivors include daughter Erna Roth and son William C Roth with three grandchildren. Burial at Shiner City Cemetery.
