World Prayer Day at Lutheran Church Friday
The World Day of Prayer celebration will be held at the United Dr. Martin Luther Church on Friday March 7 at 7 30 p m in the Social Hall. Clippers Schedule First Practice
The Shiner Clippers hold their season opening practice on Sunday March 9 at Clipper Field at 3 00 p m. Funeral Services Held Saturday For Fred J. Chilek
Fred F. Chilek aged 90 died February 27 1975 in Yoakum Texas. Funeral Mass March 1 at St Josephs Yoakum with Rev Emil Winklarek celebrant and burial at St Ann’s Cemetery Hochheim. The body of 32 year old Anton G Darilek was found with a bullet wound in the head at his Houston residence on February 24 1974. Investigators pursued the death as a possible homicide while funeral arrangements were handled by Kubena Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife Margaret Laura Ann and parents Anton and Viola Darilek.
