Notes and Comments on Budget Worries and Post Office Deficit
The piece warns Congress about a 100 billion dollar budget strain and potential inflation harming low income families. It cites a projected 200 to 300 million post office deficit with profit from First Class and Air Mail masking losses in parcel post. It contrasts public service subsidies with private competition and ends urging personal and national order.
