Funeral services were held for Angela Kay Pustka infant daughter of Mr and Mrs Matt Pustka Jr of Shiner. Interment followed in Shiner Catholic Cemetery. She was born and died June 17 1974 at Shiner Hospital. Survived by two brothers and grandmothers Mrs Herbert Zwersche of Yoakum and Mrs Matt Pustka Sr of Wied.

Hail and Windstorm Ravage Fredericksburg Peach Crops
A June windstorm with hail and gusts up to 80 mph damaged Fredericksburg area orchards northeast to southwest. Gardens and ripening peaches suffered heavy losses as trees lost leaves fruit and erosion washed away crops. Pecan trees also damaged with tens of thousands in damage.

Willie J. Dreyer died June 23 1974 at Shiner Hospital at age 69 years 5 months 22 days. Services were at United Dr Martin Luther Church in Shiner on June 25 with burial in Shiner City Cemetery. The South Central Texas Amateur League all star game is set for Thursday July 4 at Clipper Field Shiner. A benefit street dance to aid the Shiner Youth Club is set for Friday July 5 at the Square on 7th Street.
