Trinity Lutheran Home Dedication in Shiner Highlighted by Growth

Celebration notes the completion and dedication of Trinity Lutheran Home on the corner of N Ave B and E 12th St in Shiner. It traces the project from July 8 1962 site blessing to June 23 1963 dedication and June 30 1963 opening with 44 residents and 56 bed capacity under Rev Edwin J Oehlke and subsequent administrator Harold Johnson.

Shiner Hospital welcomes new administrator Charles Stratman

Charles Stratman becomes administrator of the Shiner Hospital Foundation in June 1977. A Shiner native, he is a Texas Lutheran College graduate in business and history, married to Theresa O Neal, and active in local church and bowling. The community credits the hospital’s funding to local efforts and notes regulatory challenges ahead.

Pink Ladies Sponsor Blood Drive at Shiner Hospital
