Recital Showcases Mrs Thulemeyer Pupils Talent
A well attended music recital by Mrs Isabel Thulemeyer’s pupils last Tuesday featured a varied program performed with polished training and notable talent. Piano pupils included Rosalyn McKay Sharon Voskamp Nancy Harbers Katherine Bruns Jo Ann Korenek Tonie Boehm Waldo Boehm. Miss Erlene Pavlicek and Arthur Darilek Jr. were wed on May 18 at Sts Cyril and Methodius Church in Shiner. The ceremony featured a nuptial Mass, candlelit altar, Alfred Angelo gown, bespoke lace and pearls, and a three tiered wedding cake. Kempe Reunion Celebrated in Shiner at Hermann Sons Hall
The June 9 1963 Kempe reunion in Shiner featured displays flowers and photos with Cathy Kempe of San Antonio and Franie Ann Kempe of Corpus Christi handling registration. Attendees from many Texas towns joined a 2 pm business meeting memorial service and plans for the 1964 gathering. Rays Krenek and his Orchestra provided entertainment and a grand march opened the dance.

Edith Materanek of Port Lavaca married Eugene Brietzke at St. James Catholic Church Seguin on Saturday May 18 at 4 p.m. The double ring ceremony was by Msgr. Bruno Hubertus with Elsie Mosheim organist. The couple will reside at 1009 E Palm Seguin. Out-of-town guests came from San Antonio Wharton Port Lavaca and other cities.
