Tweety the Squirrel Steals Spotlight at Family Barbecue
On May 26 Joyce and I canned pickles when Bubba Strauss arrived with a pet squirrel named Tweety. The animal perched on Bubba while he fed it milk, delighted the crowd, and even performed jumps from his shoulder. Earlier, Tweety had broken a paw but recovered after Bubba taped it. The evening ended with laughter as the squirrel followed orders and the pickles were stored.
