Farm Bureau Family Night at Shiner VFW Home

The Shiner Public Schools staff celebrated retirements for Florine Berckenhoff and August Darilek of the elementary teaching ranks and cafeteria supervisor Bessie Turek at Patek's Restaurant on Tuesday May 24 1977. The events included a banquet a prayer a musical program and certificates of merit. The honorees aggregate service totaled 101 years with 67 years in Shiner.

Church School Opens June 6
Vacation Church School at United Dr. Martin Luther Church begins Monday morning June 6 at 8 30 and runs for five days.
