Mr Maack died Wednesday June 26 at his home near Shiner aged 70 years The funeral was held Thursday June 27 at the city cemetery Rev William Dzie officiating He was born in Mannheim Germany in 1848 and came to Texas in 1883 settling at Platonia before moving to Shiner He is survived by his wife and two grown children Friends extend sympathy to the relatives.
