Deeds drawn in Judge E. J Motis law offices Yoakum convey 124 acres of improved land on the Joseph McCrabb League in Lavaca County to Jim Lacina for 4000. Land in Pilot Grove area acquired years ago from J. P. Fitch. Lacina resident of the community for 25 years intends to stay.
Eye trouble remedy touts Lavoptik eye wash blended with camphor hydristis and witch hazel. A business man praises it for relieving aching eyes and improving sight. A user with red watery eyes reports Lavoptik helps wonderfully. A small bottle supposedly relieves any case of weak strained or sore eyes from Shiner Drug Co.
The Garbade family expresses heartfelt gratitude for sympathy during bereavement. They thank Rev Pfenninger for comforting words, the singers for hymns, and neighbors for flowers and support, signing D Garbade Sr and children.
