The Wolters Brothers announce the matting line is being closed out at cost with prices down to 17 to 35 cents per unit. They urge customers to take advantage of the spring opportunity before the stock is gone.
Mr and Mrs O H Deutsch celebrated their twenty fifth wedding anniversary last Saturday at their Shiner home. Mrs Deutsch’s parents Mr and Mrs Hoffman of New Braunfels attended with a few family friends. Music and singing preceded the gift presents and the occasion was enjoyed by all.
S A Carnes and Sun announce demand for 6000 dozen eggs weekly with poultry and other goods. They state ongoing shipments from Shiner and Yoakum and promise highest spot cash payments.

Mrs Mittanck driving Miss Mae Hughes's horse and trap near the old rock store south of the railroad crashed into a tree after the animal ran wild. Initial reports warned of possible fatality, but latest updates indicate recovery with lasting shell effects.
