Services were at Buffington Funeral Home Shiner February 7 9 45 am with Requiem Mass at 10 am at Shiner Catholic Church. Burial in Shiner Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers from Shiner and Yoakum include Otto Stary Raymond Kocian Daniel Peters Adolph Pesek Julius Chumchal and Frankie Cmakal. She was born April 30 1887 daughter of Joseph and Julia Harabis. She married Frank Kloda January 8 1918. She is survived by daughter Annie Omakal and others including siblings and three grandchildren.

Remember The Maine Shiner Memorial Post No. 6209 Veterans of Foreign Wars and Ladies Auxiliary will observe the anniversary of the sinking of the U S S Maine in the harbor at Havana on February 15 1898. The disaster claimed 266 Americans and helped trigger the war with Spain.
