Otto Frentrup and Emma Jaeger wed on Tuesday January 22 at the Jaeger home. Reverend Bobut officiated. The Gazette extends best wishes for a smooth journey and long, prosperous days ahead.
Dickson Eason and Miss Etta Haser were married Sunday afternoon with Judge L A Meiners officiating. The bride is daughter of Mr and Mrs J A Haser. groom is son of Mrs Dickson near Moulton. Guests extend warm wishes for the couple’s future happiness.
Rathbone Temple No 78 Pythian sisters adopt resolutions on the death of Sister T J Burkett praising her service and offering sympathy to her husband and children. The resolutions will be entered in temple minutes and a Gazette notice published.
Resolutions announce the death of Mrs. T. J. Burkett on January 25 1907. The cemetery society notes she was a loyal member and true friend and extends deepest sympathy to her husband and family as a loving wife and mother.
Names listed include Mrs. C. B. Welhaueen Mrs. Cora Ward and Mrs. E. F. Wolters as committee members guiding the Gazette publication effort.

Woodmen installation occurred on Wednesday January 30 at Half Moon Camp with a royal spread and good cheer. Newly elected officers installed include C C M E Wolyers Adv Lieut A J Blohm Escort S A Thulemeyer Clerk E C Merseburger Banker J A Wolters Manager A G Lichey.
A lively Jan 24 social at the Shiner Opera House featured the Terpsichorean Participators dancing to Cuero Mexico Band. Moss draped corners and mistletoe centerpiece created a forest mood as thirty guests enjoyed a grand march and refreshments of cake and fruit punch.

It itemizes loans and discounts, circulatory funds, reserves, national and state bank balances, and a 1907 capital and surplus structure with a notarized cashier affidavit sworn January 30 1907. Directors Wm Greey and Fare Fry attend the bank.

Lavaca County voters paid taxes late extending office hours to 9 pm to collect payments before today. The county reports 4020 polls paid, more than 800 in excess of prior expectations, marking a record turnout.
