Funeral services for Mrs Lenora Lillie Roggenkamp of Cuero Texas were held Friday December 23 at the Lindenau Lutheran Church with Rev D L Muehlbrad and Rev K Konzack officiating. Burial followed in Lindenau Cemetery. The body rested at Freund Funeral Home from 12:45 p.m. to 2 p.m. Pallbearers were Edwin Sinast Edmund Buchhorn Reinhold Roggenkamp Edgar Arndt Wilfred Kelch and Elmo Krause. She had been ill several years and in critical condition the past twenty months. She died Thursday at 9 05 a.m. Born March 31 1894 at Shiner she was 61 years 8 months 22 days. She married Ben F Roggenkamp on June 20 1922 in Gonzales.
The outdoor Manger scene at the home of Mr. and Mrs. August H. Maneth won first prize in the Knights of Columbus Decoration Contest. Second place went to a residence listed as 0-5-0 2-0-3- with the same organizers.

Mr and Mrs August E Ma dala of Yoakum announce the birth of a daughter at Wagner Hospital on Friday December 23. The newborn weighed five pounds ten ounces at birth and is described as a healthy infant.
