Mrs Roman Rainosek died suddenly December 16 at six after an appendicitis operation on December 8. Born Elenora Elekar near Wallis, she married Roman Rainosek November 17, 1930, and leaves three children Elenora Marie 6 Annie Louise 4 Roman Jr 2, her parents, siblings, and relatives. Contract Let For Highway 200 Lavaca County Work

The State Highway Commission let the contract on Friday for grading and drainage work on seven miles of Highway 200 in Lavaca County. The project runs from the Gonzales County line through Shiner to about three and a half miles east of here. Completion is scheduled within 150 working days.
