Jurors Being Selected For Ludwig Trial
A packed courtroom heard voir dire as jurors were chosen for the murder trial of A H Buddy Ludwig over the shotgun slaying of Bill Foeh on a public road at Witting October 8. A 60 member special venue was being questioned with 18 jurors asked, 15 excused for legal reasons, and nine for medical excuses. Testimony was expected to begin Tuesday.

Theo Neumann Rites Held in Hallettsville
Funeral services for Theodore Neumann 80 were held at Kubena Funeral Home and Sacred Heart Church Hallettsville. He died Nov 27 and leaves three sons seven daughters a sister two brothers and many grandchildren. Rosary was recited prior to the service. He was a retired farmer born Nov 8 1873.

Rites Read For Ernest Boysen
Funeral services were held for Ernest Boysen 73 of Cheapside at Buffington Chapel in Yoakum with Dr. Paul Bechter officiating. Interment followed at Ruppert Cemetery in Cheapside. grandsons and nephews served as pallbearers. Born in Germany June 24 1880 he died November 29 in Yoakum aged 73 years 5 months 5 days. Survivors include two sons H C Boysen Sr Victor Boysen one daughter Mrs Arthur Wild five brothers Henry Will Herman and Richard Boysen of Gonzales and Fred Boysen of Path one sister Mrs Ella Johnson Cuero four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Attending from Shiner were Mr and Mrs E F Riske.
