XX Century Club Meets With Allegorical Art Program
The XX Century Club met on Thursday afternoon April sixteenth at Mrs. C. B. Welhausen's home. Seventeen members and one guest Mrs. Edwin Holchak from Kenedy attended. Officers and committees reports were accepted and a program on Allegorical painting followed, featuring Botticelli's Allegory of Spring displayed by Elsie Dziewas, Durer's Knight Death and Devil by Cora Berkenhoff, and Watts' Hope shown by Ad Schulze. The next meeting will be May seventh with Mrs. Elo Wolters to review the year's work.
