The board approved sidewalk changes on California street and brick work on Georgia street south to Tenth with bids to be received June 17. Various bills and mayoral staff salaries were approved.

Franklin jailed after liquor-law conviction
W E Franklin was found guilty by a Hamilton County jury of violating the new liquor law. He was fined 50 dollars and sentenced to thirty days in jail after a prolonged trial in the Hamilton Circuit Court on Monday.
