Town Board Meeting Deliberates Sew er Crossing Settlement and Insurance

Town Board met in regular session with all members present. Elmer Underwood settled damage for sewer crossing land, town to pay 865 and reserve entry rights for repairs, crops damaged compensation promised. Boilers to be insured by Hartford for three years at 100 premium, coverage 3100,000 including injured persons. Health Board secretary reports vaccinating all vagrants and children. towns to supply vaccination material free of charge.

Death Roll: Mrs. Rubt G Kercheval Dies at Home

Mrs. Rubt G Kercheval dies at 35 after months of rheumatic illness and stomach congestion. She leaves a large family of eight children, with funeral at home Sunday 7 PM conducted by Rev Parsons, burial at Crown View. Also, little son of Mr and Mrs Charles A Hutchens dies aged two. funeral Friday 10 AM at Wesleyan Church, Interment Crown View.

Kempton Band Fulfills Sheridan Show Promise With Concert

The Kempton Band returned to Sheridan last Thursday night delivering the concert hoped for at the Horse Show night rained out. A large crowd enjoyed excellent selections by the Kempton Boys, aided by the reused fireworks to entertain attendees.

Telephone Companies Organize in Hamilton and Boone Counties

The Independent Telephone Association of Hamilton and Boone Counties met at Westfield Indiana to perfect its organization and elect officers. It represents about three thousand subscribers and aims to benefit members. officers include H F Gallimore president E Hawkins vice president L D Cox secretary M E Cox treasurer and J Johnson C Jones and E L Gallimore on the executive board. Elderly Bradfield Injured, Returns Home Then Fades

Mr John P Bradfield who was hurt by a fall from a street car in Indianapolis three weeks ago has returned home last Sunday and improved enough to be up about the house though not yet venturing downtown. Reports say he has grown weaker and death is expected soon. he is over eighty and a relapse this week has dashed hopes of recovery.
