A Stranger Amid the Scenes of His Beyhead

He recalled many local names and places, identified old landmarks, and revealed he was John Thomas Briscoe, raised in Aldie, Virginia, now living in Denver after thirty years in Warren County Indiana. He left home for Cleveland's inauguration but paused here to reconnect with former friends and acquaintances.
