Grandfather at 36 in Fayette county Pennsylvania
A Pennsylvania Railroad man from Uniontown, William R. Albright, becomes a grandfather at 36 when his daughter Thelma Wilkins, 16, gives birth to a nine pound boy. The Albrights are believed the youngest grandparents in Fayette county. Also noted are a smallpox scare near Falling Waters, Army court martial executions from 1917 to 1919, a grain alcohol ruling for druggists, and quirky historical and medical notes.
