Obituary of Mrs. Mary Kenney of Shepherdstown Va
Mrs Mary Kenney widow of Thomas Kennedy died at her Shepherdstown home on Saturday August 6 1859 at about ten thirty in the morning in her sixty ninth year. She was a kind affectionate mother and friend renowned for selfless duties and care for others. Her death followed the loss of several beloved children and a devoted physician, said to hasten her demise. Her noble example and moral influence endure in the memories of those who knew her.
