No Basic Changes In 1966 Farm Program Says ASC

Frank Light, chairman of the Michigan ASC State Committee, says the 1966 farm program will not have basic changes including cross compliance. The Food and Agriculture Act of 1965 governs new programs. Producers must follow commodity provisions on the participating farm and avoid exceeding allotments or leasing on other farms. Participants should maintain their normal soil conserving acreage and farming patterns.
