Work progresses on a building for pumping equipment and a new well drilled last summer. The village plans new water mains to support dual systems that will operate alternately to reduce pressure on a single line and provide backup during a well failure. A $27,000 bond approved two years ago funds the project with $8,900 for wiring, $3,000 for mains, and $18,000 for drilling, equipment, and property.
