At a Shep herd High School meeting Dan Mahoney outlined legislation creating county or multi county intermediate districts with leadership and shared services. Counties under 5000 students must join neighboring counties to form larger units. No action was taken.
The Sick Mrs Clarence Myers returns home from Carson City Hospital after observation and treatment. Bill Edmonds aged 11. son of Mr and Mrs Robert Edmonds, has also been released from Carson City Hospital. Craig Struble aged 12 remains in Carson City Hospital gaining slowly. Roy Beebe admitted to Carson City Hospital on December 24 for observation and treatment. Peter J Behrend of Shepherd admitted to Central Michigan Community Hospital on December 21 after a fall and is in serious condition. Suzanne Moeggenberg of Shepherd admitted December 18 and Ethel Byrd of Shepherd admitted December 19 to CMC Hospital this past week.
