Summer Barbecues Spark Outdoor Fun
Outdoor cooking advocates claim faster, better results using the Gene Worreck method. Build a pyramid of Bar-B-Sorb mineral base in the grill, cover the bottom, then add starter liquid. Ignite, burn until a gray ash forms, then arrange charcoal about an inch apart to prevent flare ups. The mineral base reflects heat and absorbs drippings, reducing coal use and lasting through the season.
