Mrs Margaret Clevenger of Shepherd transferred from Carson City Hospital to Schnepps Convalescent Home in St Louis on Thursday August 22 and remains about the same.
Mr and Mrs Ted Eisenberger of Mr Pleasant and Mr and Mrs Elton Grace hosted a pink and blue shower Saturday evening for Mr and Mrs Gary Gear of Ann Arbor at the Grace home. Eighteen guests attended as ham sandwiches potato salad tomatoes olives dessert tea and coffee were served.
Brian Cohoon spent a week at Camp Rotary near Clare in a first class scout program with groups in Scout craft nature conservation and aquatics. He earned merit badges in swimming life saving rowing canoeing and motor boating along with the mile swim award and an Aquatic instructor badge.
Mrs. Bertha Knauss and daughter returned home with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Reynolds of Bay City after a week with the Reynolds. Mrs. Hierril and son John spent time with Mrs. Knauss. The Brien family gathered at Skidway Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Curtiss joined Mt. Pleasant visitors to Evart to see cousin Bertena Bentley. The Davises from Dewitt and Lansing visitors to Eva Davis were noted.
