The Shepherd Extension Club met Tuesday evening March 26 at 7 30 PM at Mrs Ruth Brown's home with nine members and four visitors. President Mrs Clifford Harry conducted the business meeting. Mrs Donald Gimmey and Mrs Mort Balcom led the lesson on Making Straw Hats and displayed a completed straw hat. Refreshments were hosted by Mrs Brown with co hostress Mrs Forrest Waite.

Mr Henry Claybaugh was taken from the Hungerford home Wednesday by Garbers ambulance to Broom field Hospital and Thursday moved to CMC Hospital in Mt Pleasant. Mr and Mrs Dexter of Lan sing and Mr and Mrs Lloyd Claybaugh of rural Mt Pleasant were Thursday afternoon callers at the Uri Hungerford home. Miss Mary Hohlbein assists Perrine in their home and attends high school. Mr and Mrs H O Hildebrand and Mrs Wadley from East Lansing visited Mrs Hildebrands parents, Mr and Mrs H H Perrine, Sunday afternoon. Mrs Henrietta McKinley of rural Shepherd returned home.

Doepker and allied households entertain Carter City and Lansing visitors. Ferris Institute student James Doepker returns home. other relatives visit Carson City and Mt. Pleasant.
