Motorized zipper houses of the future promising low cost homes
The article envisions mass produced pre-fabricated motorized houses with a central electric motor unit. Walls are steel and asbestos cement panels, with a single first floor core housing kitchen and all systems. Prices start at 3800 dollars for a five room bungalow, rising under 10000 for two stories, backed by Houses Inc and General Electric support.
