County health offers free influenza shots for at risk groups
Leon M. Hebertson M D county health officer announced the Health Department has received its influenza vaccine allotment and will offer free shots to residents 56 and older and chronically ill individuals 13 and older. Clinics will run October in Wasco Shafter and County facilities with schedules and contact numbers provided.

Henry Voss to keynote 27th Associa Water meeting
Henry Voss of the California Farm Bureau will keynote the 27th annual Associa Water meeting. The group opposes a water initiative, citing adverse effects on agriculture and business.
