Visalia Man Escapes Serious Injury In Train Crash
Thomas Stanton a 47 year old Visalia man escaped serious injury after his moving 1988 Ford flatbed caught fire on State Route 99 south of Lerdo Highway. He jumped from the truck as flames spread to the passenger area before it was struck by a southbound freight train. He was taken to Kern Medical Center with moderate to minor injuries.
