Pioneer Edward A Brown of Shafter Dies at 90
Edward A Brown a Shafter pioneer since 1938 died at age 90 after a life as a fertilizer entrepreneur later a farmer. He helped fund education and served as charter member of St Mark's Episcopal Church and Shafter Rotary Club. He is survived by children and grandchildren and was a Dodgers fan and golf enthusiast. Memorials were held at Shafter Memorial Park and St Pauls Bakersfield.
