Fair Entry Deadline Extended for Kern County Show
The Kern county fair extended the entry deadline from September 6 to September 10. Officials expect a 40 percent rise in exhibitors for September 19 to 23. Space in the main exhibit hall is sold out with many commercial and educational displays. The Tri County Horsemen’s Association adds $1000 to horse race purses to boost entries for the three day meet. Entry blanks are available at the fair office.
