Betsy Morosa Named Kern County Cattle Princess of 1965
Betsy Morosa 17, daughter of Mr and Mrs Joseph Morosa of Bakersfield, was chosen as Kern County Cattle Princess for 1965. She was crowned by Mrs Robert Carver, president of Kern County Cow Belles, at a Matson Jaussie luncheon. An alternate received a leather handbag. Morosa will represent the cattle industry at events this year. The Kern County unit of Cow Belles, formed in 1951, marked a first in state history with the selection.
