West High sprinker system bid lowers project cost

Kern County Union High School District trustees accept a $16,484 bid from Kern Sprinkler Co. Bakersfield for a lawn and sprinkling system as part of West High site development funded by 1963 bond funds. The gym bleachers from Safeway Steel Products and cafeteria equipment from Dohrman Hotel Co. were approved.
