Second Wasco almond truckers busted for theft attempt
Two truckers Gerardo Trevino and Peter Devote were arrested in Wasco on suspicion of stealing a $150,000 almond load bound for New Jersey, with fake plates and logos found by Mandelin Inc workers. A similar theft suspect Francisco Javier Lopez Martinez was arrested the prior week. Investigations continue.

Three Arrested in Shafter Drug Operation
Up, the neow County Sheriff's Office investigated tips of a drug operation in Shafter. In the 400 block of Pine Street they encountered three suspects. Bryson Barton 19 Rikki Redenius 19 and Tyler Tokumoto 21 were arrested on drug charges. Methamphetamine a gun and other evidence were recovered and the investigation continues.

Shafter Time Capsule Scroll Signatures Open To December
